For its first edition of Gene Therapy Partnering Day, the DIM Gene Therapy, Medicen Paris Region, and the Imagine Institute brought together nearly 150 European participants around the challenges of gene therapy.
Opened by Pr Stanislas Lyonnet (director of the Imagine Institute), Pr Marina Cavazzana (scientific coordinator of the DIM Gene Therapy) and Stéphane Roques (CEO at Medicen Paris Region), the main actors in gene therapy in Europe attended plenary sessions dedicated to the challenges of gene therapy and the presentation of the research projects supported by the DIM Gene Therapy. The morning continued with the exceptional presence of Donna Armentano, Executive Director, Global Head GTx, External Science and Innovation at Pfizer, and the presentation of innovative biotechs in the field.

With 125 scheduled meetings, the afternoon BtoB session allowed all participants to discuss future public/public and private/public collaborations.

Successful bet for the DIM Gene Therapy that delighted many participants whether they are academic researchers, clinicians, big pharma companies or Biotechs. For its first successful edition, Gene Therapy Partnering Day has reinforced, in the light of personalized medicine, the grade of gene therapy at the heart of therapeutic innovation.
