The regional grant is distributed in annual instalments on the basis of a work package presented by the network and validated by the Region.
The DIM « thérapie génique » supports gene therapy projects on one of the thematic areas of the DIM (see research axes).
Funded activities are experimental research activities, for indications whose clinical need is clearly identified, with the prospect of completing a clinical trial within 4 to 5 years. The DIM can also fund ancillary studies (e.g. biochemical exploration) on an ongoing clinical study.
The regional grant finances:
- In investment, the purchase of semi-heavy equipment to shared heavy equipment (benefiting several Paris Region teams)
- In operation, research fellowships (doctoral student, post-doc) or research support staff (engineer, technician …), as well as small laboratory equipment or consumables.
If you belong to a team in the Paris Region and you think that your project is eligible for a grant from the DIM, you are invited to contact the axis holders.
