To support scientific employment in Paris Region and to promote the transfer of skills between research institutions and industries, the Paris Region launched a new program “Paris Region PhD” by provided funding for 100 doctoral contracts between 2019 and 2022 in the field of new digital technologies.

This year, the Paris Region support 30 doctoral contracts for a maximum of 100 000 € per student.

Eligible research projects will have to target the challenges of industrial digital development (IoT, artificial intelligence, blockchain, big data, robotics …) and be part of the research themes of the areas of major interest (DIM), including the DIM Gene Therapy. The research projects must also be co-constructed and co-financed by an eligible socio-economic partner (SME, ETI, large groups, associations, local authorities) established in Paris Region.

The deadline for submission of projects is May 15th, 2019.
